Christmas Party

Our Christmas party this year will be on Thursday December 15th. During class today we picked names for our gift exchange. (See below - the person's name is a BIG SECRET!) Please help your little one choose a $5 gift for our party. It does not take much to please these little ones. On our party day, please bring your gift, wrapped with a gift tag saying: To:_____ and From:_____, so we will know whose is whose. We will open our gifts, one at a time, so everyone can enjoy the excitement. The child that is giving is truly as excited as the one receiving, what a special feeling!

November Newsletter

Dear Parents:

Happy Fall/Thanksgiving! I have so much to be thankful for including you, wonderful parents, and your sweet little ones! This month is going to cover the following:

1. H= Health. We are going to cover some VERY important basics, including, but not limited to: why it is important to brush your teeth, wash your hands, and eat certain foods! On November 1st a local dentist will be coming to do a "Tooth Fairy" presentaton. Snack will be Hot Dogs (by popular vote from the children who keep asking me when we get to eat hots dogs at school!)

2. I = Insects and Spiders. This creepy, crawly unit is a favorite. We will talk about and handle some of our most favorite critters (i.e. ladybugs, butterfly, crickets, etc) Snack will be Ice Cream.

3. Thanksgiving Week. We will be learning about the first Thanksgiving as well as having our very own feast on the 17th. For that day we are asking each child to bring a food to share with his or her friends in honor of Thanksgiving Day! Please respond via the comments section with something you can bring - and remember to please cut or make the portions sizes very small, it does not take much to fill these little tummies up! This feast will take place at 11:15 to 11:45 - so your child can count this as their lunch for that day!

Please remember there is no school on the 22nd or the 24th for our Thanksgiving break! Enjoy this special time with your family and loved ones.
Firefly book orders due on November 1st!

Call me if you have any questions about this information! Thanks for always blessing me with your smiles and sweet attitudes. Have a great month and know that I love your children!

Love,
Britni
